Note to Self
In Wananga we have been looking at Note to self and quotes that help inspire us, keep us going for the week and gives us a heads up. This week we had to blog about a "note to self" quote that connects with us. For this week I have chose "You don't need to be at your lowest point to ask for help"
To me this quote or note means that it is okay to ask for help anytime, anyday, anywhere. It is better for you to ask for help than wait and make your self feel useless and feel lonely. It's impossible for you to know everything, especially regarding life obstacles that you've never faced before, or things outside of your comfort zone. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength and courage. In today's society, we're influenced to hide our weaknesses, however, in order to improve our weaknesses, we need the help of others. Asking for help is another trait of being a successful and independent person. There's a right and wrong way to ask for help. Asking for help does not allow the other person to do everything, while you sit back. Sometimes people tend to wait till they're in trouble then they ask for help rather than seeking help to avoid getting into trouble. When you are feeling down it is okay to ask for help we all go through rough days and we all have moments where we feel like giving up but we get up and we keep our heads high and keep going.
