100 Word Challenge 29th February

My friends and I we decided to plot  a prank on Whaea Raewyn. All break we were thinking what we should do. Suddenly Dominique got an Idea! “We could pour vinegar into her coffee!” During lunch I skipped home to grab the vinegar. When we got back to the building we tiptoed into our classroom and hid in the kitchen  cupboard waiting for the right moment. Finally Whaea Raewyn left and we began. Dominique deleted all the CCTV memory. We replaced the coffee with a bottle of vinegar. Whaea Raewyn spat it down her shirt.

     TUESDAY 26TH REFLECTION - PLAYBACK

•    What game did I find challenging and why?

   Bench Ball was the game I found challenging because we had to work as a team and communicate and also we had to self-referee and there were also a heap of noise because there were other teams playing at once while we had to make sure that everyone is playing fairly and everyone is getting a play and were enjoying it!

• One of the goals was to listen... what skills do you need to have to be a good learner?

     We have to listen to the teacher and follow instructions, also we have to listen to each other (students) while were playing a game for example when we were playing long ball we have to listen to each because they may be calling your name because the ball may be coming your way. 

• What communication skills do I need when playing bench ball (when playing games we played before)?

   When we need someone's attention we need to call for their name and wait for their attention, while playing Bench ball we needed to communicate with each other by passing the ball around.

• What skills do I need to work on for my next lesson?

      By communicating with each other while playing and letting other people have a try.

• What is a personal goal I want to work on today?

My personal goal for today will be that I will fully commit myself to take part in movement activites and games that we are going to do / play today. 

When were moving from class to Gym I need to be aware of other classes working and not being loud which will disturb them.

Reflection 22th February 2019

1: What was the game we played today?

•      For period one we played a similar game to Ki o Rahi, we had to play the role of Kioma and how to score. It was a challenging game because we only got two touches and switch over or hand the ball over to the other team.

2: Describe a time you had to show resilience today?

•  Playing the role of Kioma was a game where we had to work together as a team and cooperate and communicate the time where I have to perservere was when we had to pass the ball around so I can to keep an eye out for ball and If i get tagged  we have to hand it over to the other team.

Movie Magic Blog

We've started Movie magic this year with a blast! Our first fun task we got to create 1 minute silent movies it was so much fun! It also got us to use our imagination. Our group we decided to create our version of Run, it's genre was horror and comedy, we chose horror and comedy because we wanted to try something new and we also wanted to make the audience scared. We worked well as a group and we got to add some background music which was a whistling noise but then at the end we changed it to like a car running over someone sound so we can make our movie more effective. (Video below) 

Our second activity was we had to create a movie based on a fairy tale story. Our group and I we made up an exciting and funny movie that we are currently working on and it's called "Goldilocks and the three pigs". So far we've finished working out who's acting as who, at the moment we're working on finishing our script then we can act it. I've learnt so far how to add background music that is relevant to our movie and I also learnt how to remove sound and add another sound and also how to add filters. 

Goals for Term 1 2019

My first goal is to Think Creatively.

• Sometimes I don't think out of the box and I stick to the basics but instead I can think Creatively by thinking of new fresh ideas and use my imagination and also make it creative

My second goal is to give useful feedback to others.

• To achieve this goal I need to give people my opinion and feedback because we all have a different view of learning. 

My Last goal is to use feedback to improve my learning.

• To achieve this goal I need to listen to people's (classmates or teacher's) feedback so I can improve my learning. Also that when I do something again I know how to improve it because I've heard people's feedback.

#What games did you play today?
    Bench Ball and Silly bananas
#Which one did you enjoy the most and why?
 I enjoyed playing Bench Ball the most because us as a group we needed to work as a group and we also need to communicate with each other and problem solve and with those skills we would be able to enjoy the game.
#What game did you find challenging and why?
   Silly bananas because there was only one tagger and everyone else was running around so it was hard to look out for the tagger.
# One of the goals was to listen... what skills do you, need to have to be a good listener?
   By not talking to the person next to me and also by not talking when the teacher is talking.
#What communication skills did I need to have when playing bench ball?
  I needed to use people's name when you want their attention, by not saying anything negative to each other always positive
#What skills do I need to work on for my next lesson?
